Harley Davidson Tattoos: Making a Statement

Harley Davidson tattoos are a popular form of body art for Harley Davidson enthusiasts. The Harley Davidson emblem can be integrated into virtually any tattoo and are pretty common among Harley Davidson tattoos.

The Harley Davidson shield is a popular tattoo theme. The shield is the company's symbol and is placed on all Harley Davidson products and letterhead. Flames and wings are typically added to this logo to spice up the tattoo. Harley Davidson riders also get flaming skulls, glittering roses or landing eagles tattooed on their bodies. These too, are emblematic of the Harley Davidson insignia.

People get Harley Davidson tattoos on all different parts of their body. Common areas include the back, shoulders and arms. Riders can put the tattoos wherever they want including on their neck, foot or chest. Harley Davidson tattoos aren't usually small. These riders like people to see their tattoos and they're not afraid to make a large statement on their bodies! Many bikers will have multiple tattoos. Some of them make an entire Harley canvass on their body. They'll start with one tattoo and then keep adding them until their entire arm or back is covered in Harley Davidson Tattoos.

People generally get tattoos of things they enjoy. People who get Harley Davidson tattoos like Harley Davidson's products and get the tattoos to show support for the company and the lifestyle it supports. If you're not a biker, you're probably not going to get a Harley Davidson tattoo.

Getting a Harley Davidson Tattoo

Whether deciding to get a huge Harley Davidson tattoo across your entire back or a small group of flowers on your foot, getting a tattoo is a big decision. Though they can be removed, tattoos are generally a lifetime commitment. It's expensive and painful to get them removed and it's not guaranteed that they can be removed.

Before you get your Harley Davidson tattoo, do you homework. First, pick out a design that's right for you. Look through all of the Harley Davidson pictures, posters, photographs and logos and find the one you like best. Take a couple of design ideas to several different tattoo artists and see what they can do with the design. Tattoo artists will be able to give you an idea of how to put the tattoo together before they start working on you.

While you're at the tattoo shop, take a look around. Does it look clean? Are the needles kept in individual, unwrapped packages? Do the customers look happy? Are the tattooists wearing gloves? When you get a tattoo you want to make sure the shop is clean. Ask the tattooist to show you where they sterilize the equipment so you can be reassured that it's getting clean.

Do not get a tattoo in a shop that looks dirty or makes you uncomfortable. Wait until you find one you trust, even if it is a little pricey. With tattooing you get what you pay for and if you're not careful, you could end up with infected Harley Davidson tattoos.
