Harley Davidson Apparel From Head to Toe
You can't truly be a Harley Davidson fan unless you can outfit yourself from head to toe in Harley Davidson apparel.
Harley Davidson Apparel From Head to Toe
Harley Davidson is well aware that it's a top of the line, well-known motorcycle operation and it's not afraid to commercialize that fact. Harley Davidson company has enough clothing choices to outfit any man, woman or child. From headgear all the way down to riding boots, this apparel can cover users literally from head to toe.
Starting at the top, Harley has designed several different Harley Davidson hats. There are pink hats for the girly riders, camouflage hats for the military enthusiasts and traditional Harley insignia bandanas for the every day rider. Headgear also includes thin beanies that can be warn under a rider's helmet as well as wrap around bandanas to keep hair out of the rider's eyes.
Harley also has an extensive line of Harley Davidson apparel that's supposed to be worn under the rider's clothes to keep them warm. Harley's warm under clothing wear is called Skinny wear. Skinny wear is skintight. It keeps the rider warm because it's made of thermal fabrics. Skinny wear is also a very breathable material. This allows sweat to dry quickly, which will also keep the rider warm. Harley likes these garments because they're warm, but they're not bulky. In fact, they're really small and don't take up much room in a travel pack.
Of course Harley has all of the apparel typically associated with Harley Davidson riders. This includes leather jackets, leather pants, leather wallets, military style boots and leather vests. You can add patches to any of these items to spruce them up and make them look even more Harley Davidsonish.
Harley Davidson apparel also includes accessories such as belts. The company produces both women's and men's belts. It also has some belts for children. Harley Davidson also produces traveling gear such as backpacks, fanny packs and purses.
What's Up with the Leather?
Not all bikers wear leather when they ride, but most of them do. Bikers don't wear leather just because it looks cool or because Harley Davidson promotes it. They wear leather because it's a more protective material.
Leather is more effective at protecting motorcycle riders' skin in accidents than other materials. Leather doesn't rip as easily so it provides better protection between the rider and the road than most other materials. To help your leather gear protect you from road burn, you need to keep you leather in great shape. Make sure to protect from the elements by spraying it with leather sealant. You should regularly condition the leather to keep it from drying out. Dry leather weakens the material, making it more prone to ripping.
You'll be able to find plenty of leather Harley Davidson apparel at any surrounding Harley Davidson stores or by visiting the Harley Davidson Web site.
